The Cleary Foundation was created in the 1950s by the philanthropic activities and environmental vision of Fred Cleary, CBE. The aims of The Cleary Foundation are particularly focused on supporting charities involved in preserving the natural environment and green spaces in London and charities located for the most part in the South East, and Kent in particular, whose work is to provide opportunities for young people and community groups, in particular from inner London, to visit and engage with the countryside.
